Getting started
- 1 · Upload your product. A clear photo of the piece, straight from your existing catalog. PNG, JPG or WebP, up to 20 MB.
- 2 · Add a material swatch. A close-up of the fabric, leather or wood — flat and evenly lit works best. Save swatches to your library so they're one tap away.
- 3 · Generate and download. A finished, high-resolution image lands in your library, ready for listings and presentations.
The tools
- Material swap — recolor a piece within its material family. The swatch drives hue, grain and sheen.
- Refine with instructions — converting between materials (fabric → leather) or changing wood and legs, guided by plain text.
- Remove background — a clean white studio cut-out with a natural contact shadow.
- Environment scene — place the product in a styled interior. No staging, no photographer.
- Marketing video (Pro) — turn a generated image into a finished 10 or 15 second marketing clip in different looks.
- Mobile capture studio (Pro) — shoot with your phone's camera in a fixed 1:1 frame and generate on the spot.

Credits & billing
- Quick edits (remove background, text-only refine in the editor) cost 1 credit. Full generations (material swap, environment scene, refine with a swatch or reference) cost 5 credits. Marketing videos cost 9 credits (10 sec) or 13 credits (15 sec).
- Failed runs are always refunded automatically.
- Plans: Starter at $49/mo (50 credits) and Pro at $129/mo (150 credits, batch, mobile studio, video, priority queue). Unused credits roll over while your plan is active.
- Need more? One-time top-ups from 50 to 5,000 credits are available on your profile page.
- Manage or cancel your plan any time from Profile → Manage plan.
Your images & storage
- Results live in your library — download them individually or select several and export as a ZIP.
- Generated results are stored temporarily: your five newest images are kept for 30 days, older ones for 3 days. Download what you want to keep.
- Your swatch library is permanent until you delete a swatch.
- Your uploads are used only to generate your results — never to train AI models.
Common questions
Does it preserve the shape, seams and construction?
Yes. Geometry, proportions, stitching, buttons, legs and perspective are locked. Only the target material changes. If a result drifts, regenerate or refine it with plain text.
How accurate is the color and texture?
The swatch drives the result: hue, lightness and grain are matched to it, and the output is never lighter than your swatch.
Do regenerations cost credits?
Yes. Every run is a fresh render and costs the tool's own price — a text-only refine in the editor is just 1 credit, a full generation 5. A short text instruction usually gets a drifting result right in one extra run.
Can I use the images and videos commercially?
Yes. Everything you generate from your own product photos is yours to use in listings, catalogs and marketing.
Why does my generation take a few minutes?
Every image is a full high-resolution render — typically 1–3 minutes. You can close the app or switch tabs; the job keeps running and lands in your library.
My generation failed. What now?
Your credits were refunded automatically. Try again — if the same input keeps failing, write to us with the photo and we'll take a look.
How do I delete my account?
Write to support@swatchswap.app from your account email and we'll delete your account and data.
